BUSH HOUSE

​Remote setting in cattle grazing country, North Queensland.  180 degree mountain views from the East to West.  The brief was to maximise the views and provide a beutiful and functional family home on this rural site.  The house is perched on the north facing section of the site - adjacent the original homestead.  Designed to completement, rather than supersede the existing facilities.  A distinctive Australian and tropical design response with lightweight construction and durable cladding materials.  Considerations for bushfire conditions and the demands of living remotely have been incorporated
